The Touch Of Another. Poem by Nathan Charles

The Touch Of Another.

The day is long… the day is dark. I go to my little place to which but almost gone. Things I do to change the ways. The wages of my actions are high, and I know it is wrong.

Time passes by with distance never changing. The pain to watch as she has no defending. I speak words to show concern. I do no hide myself for the reason I have nothing to hide. I set here feeling numb to the world, but my soul is arguing with the world.

One step closer just remember to pause take a breath. Two steps closer to make sure she doesn’t fall. There are things going on to which I can see and speak. The plan is too soon, I can’t see the page of this that life is showing. Is it the forbidden fruit? I am now the unknowing. Lines have blurred words have been spoken. Now the souls have spoken.
