The Tragedy Of Shakespeare Poem by Tina Tucker

The Tragedy Of Shakespeare

Rating: 5.0

The tragedy of Shakespeare

Vivid memories are going through my mind,
of my English classes, in teenage years,
the reluctance to read Hamlet, was quite fierce,
because for the love of Shakespeare, I was blind.

My worst nightmare; Shakespeare,
there is just one thing I fear,
There thy are again,
reading thou books is such a strain.

For the sake of getting that degree,
I just have to wrestle myself through the acts,
Unfortunately, that are the facts,
It just needs to be…..

…..or not to be…
..that is the question.

Amazing poem. That is the common perception of the beginners but when you develop a love for the bard's writings, you start enjoying more and more. I love the way you have put it. Thanks, Tina.
