The Tree Poem by Randy McClave

The Tree

From a Japanese legend many does say
Unto this very second and day,
It is their most solemn legacy and belief
With the thoughts of the changing of a leaf.
If you ever feel like you're losing everything
And if in your mind and sight a loss does ring,
If everywhere you think and look you feel a loss
And your sanity and faith you need to cross.
Remember, trees lose their leaves every year
There is not fright or worries or a single tear,
It is the way that God had created them
And tress God will not ever condemn.
During the fall and winter a tree will lose its every leaf
Not showing sadness or pain or even grief,
A tree knows that soon its leafs will return
Waiting for Mother Nature's yearn.
The tree will stand both naked and tall
When we see them in both winter and fall,
From no one will the tree ever hide from
The tree will just patiently wait for better days to come.
