The Tree Of Death - Poem by alisha gonzales

what happens when the tree of life becomes the tree of death,
because we will forever be in its debt
a life deferred
a child very disturbed
therapy for years, no end
painful stress and missed periods,
a satan child to call my own
an experience that would make a normal person want to die
but the tree of death still gives life for the children of the night
