The Truth Poem by Amy Hang

The Truth

It's getting closer
But we're getting farther
Why can't you see
That our love isn't free?

It cost us so much pain;
In every vain,
Touch;
That sometimes can be crushed.

The truth is
I can't take anymore of this.
You're leaving me,
This can't be.

Everytime we are together
We smile like we can't say never,
But now that we are together, I cry.
You're making me wanna die.

My heart is suffering.
I'm dying.
You can't see it,
Not one tiny bit.

My life is tearing apart
And this is the truth part
I want this to be right,
But where's the light?
