Through the passage of time we do many things
Actions: some wrong, some right that we commit
In the absence of reason we act in ways normally never considered
And more often than not in a manner that contradicts our inner nature
It seems our fate to do and say things that hurt others
Especially those we care about most, though often without meaning to
For though something can seem excellent to do at the time
The one you do it for will probably see it in a negative light
Because they don't really trust you, and you'd better get used to it
