The Turn Around Poem by Deidre Dixon

The Turn Around

Ten lepers saw Jesus and called out to Him. They had no shame in their game!

Jesus had pity and healed all ten of them. But only one turned back to say, "thank you; " what a shame!

Because of the one man's faith, Jesus went beyond healing the leprosy. He made this man whole!

Wholeness the other nine did not see. Because they were ungratefully cold!

They got cleansed from leprosy just like the other gent. They were excited, but thanks wasn't in the picture.

They were in earshot to hear what the healing meant. But hearing this grateful man give thanks, for them, didn't even trigger!

There are some lessons to be learned from this story. Things that all of us can glean.

The first thing we need to do when we are blessed is give God the glory! Anything less than that is downright mean!

We also need to understand that the Lord is the one who heals, and He sometimes uses vessels here on earth.

When you glorify people who were used by God it steals. All of the glory belongs to God ‘cause we know what the healing is worth!

Giving thanks pleases Him because it shows we have faith. Our faith will make us whole!

When you think of His goodness and all He has done it is never too late! To thank Him and let your testimony be told.

When Jesus takes the time to turn around just to attend to you. Know that for everything concerning you, He cares.

You ought to take the time to turn around too! And acknowledge the answer to your prayers!

If the Lord was not on our side, we would all be lost. We wouldn't have Him to loose us from being bound.

For all of our healing, He paid the cost! Now we can all experience the turn around!
