The Turning Point Poem by Jerry Logan

The Turning Point

Rating: 4.5

The Turning Point is
When there's no one to show off to.
Shut off from the world of ego-striving efforts,
You take first small steps to become a masterpiece
Waging the silent war of personal development
Alienation becomes a way of life.

Loved ones miss you, you miss them more
Hidden agenda cannot be disclosed, for
Though well-meaning would be mistaken for spite.
