The Twins Poem by Poetical Analysis

The Twins

Ever look in the mirror & not know what you see

Ever get confused between you & me

Ever wonder why you did it to find no reason

Ever betray you own body with institutionalized treason

Ever hate who you are like a threatening stranger

Ever run inside when surrounded by danger

Ever see a side of you you thought was lost

Ever make a deal more one sided than Faust

Ever kneel & pray to a delusional fraud

Ever think you aren't the one who created god

Ever miss the time before you were birthed

Ever realize the measly sum you are actually worth

Ever have four fingers pointing you down

Punishing you like an unwanted hound

You probably don't remember when you were so torn

In that moment thought is when you'll find the twins were born
