Our bittersweet relationships to navigate
As persistence and perseverance spice our leisure
To knock at life's gangrene gate of hate.

Our share of goodwill to hand
Our moment of triumph to savour
As on a graduation podium we land
To reap a priceless degree for our endeavour.

Our share of introspection to absorb
Our test of mettle to display
As the weak, feeble and misguided sob
When retribution in good time swamp their day.
