A ray of light is here at last,
I'm stopping in it and going nowhere fast,
love has eluded me for so long,
when I'm near you everything's right and nothings wrong.

Take my hand and I shall guide you there,
straight up the path to my loves lair,
once you're there, please don't let go,
because you and I know with love - we've got hope.

Stay a while, till the end of time,
I promise I'm forever yours if you swear you are mine,
because this feels right and the thought makes me smile,

Forever entwined with you will be heaven sent,
many wasted years without you I have spent,
