The Lion And The Lamb Poem by Aakash Nengroo

The Lion And The Lamb

Rating: 5.0

In that cold freezing night
When the light had faded out
I remmember that sight....
That awkward beautiful sight

I swear..i was out of control
No sence of mercy...nothing
A lion...hungry from days...
I wondered every where...
In search of my prey..

But....
In that deep dark alley...
I found that lamb...
Innocent....cute...full of flesh

My stomach growled..churned of hunger
Oceans started to pour out my mouth
I stepped backward...
In crouch....ready...
But alas...
In that split second
When our eyes met...

And the great mistake was committed...
The lion fell in love with the lamb!

What a stupid cute lamb? ?
And what sick loving lion?
Going against nature...
Breaking every law...
With nothing special in them!
Just the pure, determined love
What do you think? ?
Is it their idiocy or wisdom? ? ? ?
