The Unforgiven Love Poem by Sunny Munera Managan

The Unforgiven Love

As years go by
Doubts become strong
And relentless
The passing years
Have made this tiny
Human creature
Born of a sweet but
Very gentle woman
From the unknown
Human called father
Guess you can call
Any human creature
From the male race
An ejector
Who gets a right
To be call a father
It makes her wonder
Why not his love
Why so special
About his love
To dream about it
As they say
Don't feel it won't hurt
But it hurts as years go by
Never there as a father
Wondering and asking
Who is this man
Came and gave life
Never held his arms
Never warm hugs
Never a whisper
My beautiful little girl
So father always
Dreaming I look
For your love

Happy fathers day
