The Unforgiving City Poem by abu tarek md tahsin

The Unforgiving City

The city rumble
And mumbles
And crumbles
Under the thundering
Stampede of humanity

And through the silence
Of the dawn
It cries a squealing shriek
Of a thousand years
Of agony

And did you feel
It's aging heart
When you arrived
And when you leave
