The Unseen Poem by Arunesh Goswami

The Unseen

Rating: 5.0

I would love to die a million times
For a solitary breathe on this planet green
But thou I try canst reject thy emotion divine
I am in love with the unseen.
I see the rivers glide on this faery land
I behold the birds that dance and sing
Not know how sneaking thru thy forest bend
My faery sight, and fall in love with the unseen.
The sun shines bright and happy is the earth
The wind blows wild and I dream
Of how from all thy gleaming beauty my heart
Loves the one I haven't seen!
At twilight the sun dips far in the horizon
And I behold thy proud vesper glowing
The day comes to rest, thou art my season
Reborn with thy stories of the unseen.
The peaceable moon-lit sweeps over the meadow
Thy profound silence rules the evening
Far at a temple the bell rings, and the shadow
Embraces my soul of the one I haven't seen.
I think of it and I fail, I try again invain
Watching the night sky embellishing with the myriad stars twinkling
I fail to rise up and I fall asleep thou in a mild pain
O how farthest am I from the unseen?
Thou time moves on and I sail with it
To a bank anew in a glimmering morning
And there I reborn, insane are my heart and spirit
O I am in love with the unseen.
