The Vale Of Red Poem by Leanne Henderson

The Vale Of Red

The Vale of Red

The vale of red the liquid drug
Wash down through me, warm and snug
How we love to drink our cares away
The happy vale that dissolves next day

Cheerful smiles and laughs galore
The vale of red, we drink some more
Let it wash away the troubled times
Let it dissolve the sorrow of mine

This false place is so much more fun
Gone my troubles, they weight a tone
Dance and laugh, talk and loose tongues
No one tonight the grumpy one

A moment of clarity, we see ourselves
The dark cloud looms, the laughs fade
Suddenly the vale of red
Rewards us with the truth instead

The troubles are now that tone of weight
The vale of red… the false state
