The Valley Poem by Ana Shatzy

The Valley

Rating: 5.0

I silently walk
Knowing you are gone
And I am still here
I scream you name
But no one can hear

I silently walk
Swallowing my fear
I se her crawling
Eternal sleep under your bed
I know you are dying

I silently walk
Death, the sleep I seek
You scream for help
No one hears
You exhale your last yelp

Now you are gone
She has taken you away
Taken you to the valley
The only place where I can rest
And stop my eternal rally

I´ve been waiting here longer
For my chance on the valley
The only place where I can sleep
Where I can let my soul rest
And burry my sins deep

I’ve waited for you like a dog
I decided not to move on
I waited for your death
For you to cure mu lonely soul
For you to let out your last breath

You died and went without me
To the gardens of our god
Couldn´t you wait some more?
You went without me
Then what did I wait for?

Your soul is a ship
Sailing away from me
In the oceans of your grave
From which you´ll never return
In a far away wave

I am trapped in tis world
In which I am only a ghost
There is nothing to hold me here
But I´ll haunt this place forever
With my cry that no one can hear
