The Vengeance Of Sylvia's Breath Poem by Atty. Catherine SisonPariño

The Vengeance Of Sylvia's Breath

Rating: 5.0

Amidst the depths of sorrow,
I once,
Did dwell,

Sylvia's name,
A whispered,
Mournful spell!

But now I rise,
--A spirit,
Unconfined,

For I've returned,
With purpose,
In my mind,

A man,
The author,
Of my cruel demise,

Took my life,
Extinguished,
Hopeful skies.

But in the realm beyond,
I found,
My strength,

To avenge my death,
I'll go,
To any length.

I'll haunt,
His conscience, like
-- A ghostly breath!

An unrelenting force,
The sting,
Of death,

I'll be a hunger,
In his soul,
Like air,

Consume his guilt,
His torment,
His despair.

I am,
The echo, of
A silenced cry,

In vengeance,
I am bound,
And never die!

Like air,
I'll be relentless,
Everywhere,

Sylvia's spirit,
A force,
Beyond compare!
