The Village And The Soil Poem by Imran Islam

The Village And The Soil

I won't hear anything
I won't hear what people say about me,
I am with this village and this soil
If ever I will go abroad
Then I will come back here again,
I will walk through the village pathways
With the lost memories of my childhood
I will play again in the dust of the field
And I'll take a bath in the river.

As far as I run in the flow of modern time
The sounds of your waves will be in my heart.
The moonbeams on the river banks and the stars light
The winds of the morning and the blooming nature
I can't lie, I would never forget them!
I will come back here in the spring or rains!

I will be impressed to see the green forest,
I will be friends with the villagers
And I'll hug who are my close relatives
The sight of the dusk and the sunset
That cloudy evening and the lightning
I feel them inside me like the soul
I'm still missing the wild Beli jasmine!
