The Violins Play Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Violins Play

And the vessels
Sweet dance
See
See
They have grown little feet
And
The vessels dance
And
The vessels dance

Awhile
The rhythm plays
One
Unmistakable
And the violins play
And the violins play

And as paper boats
That on the waters
Float
Leaning
Leaning
Now here
Now there
A thunder flash
So rare!
And then drizzles of rain
Sweet
They fit dance to an Irish
Jig
But above all
There be one sweet song
One sweet Voice
And the violins play
And the violins play
