The Virtuous People Never Repeat The Ill Natured Words On Any One!
In spite of the rabid dog bites with enlarging anger
and snatches physically on someone's flesh very badly,
There is no one here who snatched that dog
in turn with their mouth and bites!
Similarly, when some wretched people say very low natured
Unrespectable words without hesitation on the virtuous people,
Will the virtuous people repeat the same such ill natured
Bad words on those people in turn? Never!
This poem 'The virtuous people never repeat the ill natured words on any one! ' is a translation by me of a poem from Tamil literature 'Naaladiyaar'
நேரிசை வெண்பா
கூர்த்துநாய் கௌவிக் கொளக்கண்டும் தம்வாயாற்
1பேர்த்துநாய் கௌவினார் ஈங்கில்லை - நீர்த்தன்றிக்
கீழ்மக்கள் கீழாய சொல்லியக்காற் சொல்பவோ
மேன்மக்கள் தம்வாயால் மீட்டு.70
