Treading down the barren highway,
Weighed down by these chains,
Hating first, so that I won't get hurt,
I thought it was easy,
Screaming for liberty,
Set me free,
I'm bound to this earth,
Screaming so that you can see
My outstretched hand
For you to take
Standing with the sun, high above my head,
Waiting for nothing was I, now?
Giving me false hope,
But I guess it's my fault?
Screaming so that you can hear
The sound of my heart
When it hits the floor,
Screaming so that you can see
My empty tears crack
And fall into oblivion
