The Waltz Of Love Poem by Randall Vanlandingham

The Waltz Of Love

(dedicated to Mom and Dad: spoken in ¾ time)

One step, it will take you a little bit closer,
The other will step to the side and then slip
Around a ghost pivot and turn, you will take her,
A sweep and a twist-turn, then do it again.

It's really quite simple, this form of elation,
Until you explain it to one who's afraid.
So, put best feet forward, remember the moments
Of dancing ‘til dawn on the floors of true love!

Well conceived and nicely brought forth in persuasive expressions with conviction. An insightful creation. Thanks for sharing, Randall.
