The Wandering Soul Poem by Gabriel Rodriguez

The Wandering Soul

Look at the one who strays from the pack daring to take on the world

This wandering soul

Ready to roam on his own to explore new ideas and faiths while trying to find his place.

He has no home, no beginning, no end.

There's only his thoughts that he writes with pen.

No one can find an explanation for such a boy and his exploration

or why he doesn't stand put in his nation and travels looking for inspiration which brings a sort of elation to his soul

a sensation never felt before or previously told.

For this he will scold, himself for he with holds all emotion.

No matter how calm the stream is or how stormy the ocean.

No one knows why and sometimes while alone in the endless night with no hope in sight, he cries.

This boy walks alone the wandering soul whose work is profound however all hopes are left from this Earth as his dead body is found.

No one knows why but he decided to die, but it was of his own accord, for he felt one more day he couldn't afford in this sad dark place that is his world.

And it was then when all was still and there was no sound that his peace was finally found and if you put your head down to his heart you may jump up with a start.

As his heart cold will be warm and his soul will be reborn.

After all the pain and scorn he found what he was looking for.

And after living so dark he's finally found his heart.

It seems he saw what had departed which made him feel his best and then the broken soul was finally put to rest.
