The Wanting - Poem by Reginald Goodridge
we walked it too many times and now I'm tired
famished
extremely ready to make a move
but the time is never quite
right
over lifestyles and under deep consideration
misjudged
blinded by stereotypes and prescriptions
of what a woman should be
wanting
