The Watchers Poem by Roger Snow

The Watchers

Rating: 5.0

Down on the Waterfront
the Sailors sing a Tune
something I can't talk about
but, it's about the back side
of the Moon

up in the Tower of Nasa
sits the clowns watching the Rock
that never spins, always facing front

but I can't talk
and they won't say, , ,

but if you know what's good
for you, ,
well, I'd get down and Pray, , ,

I'm just a Traveler, , ,
not a resident, ,
I mean, , I can leave here
but you?
well you happen to pay rent, ,

Out in the Galaxy, where time
stands still, ,
there's a Song they sing
to help you pass you Ills, , ,

I'm the other one, the Watcher
with a blind eye
I'd pay attention to you
but you seem always about to cry

I'm not around
to pick up your pieces,
nor to put them down
so if it pleases, ,
meet me
on common Ground, ,

see?
there you go again
playing with Matches
while you harm a friend

is that what gives you meaning to your Life? ~~~~~~~~~~

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Addressing the Anomalous venue of "Time Traveling UFO's ", As one individual who has been aboard those Craft, I wrote this after being aboard and watching Humanity back here on Earth. It's different when you find yourself feeling detached from your Home Planet People.
