The Wave Poem by Brian Swaine

The Wave

Rating: 4.5

Watching from afar, we marvel at the storm;
Knowing where we are, it can do us no harm.
The pounding rain and the lightning's hand
Are far, far away in another's land.

The winds of change turn and bring the storm our way;
It's then that we learn that we all have our day.
Life is not always perfect, the seas, not always calm;
And we tend to forget who we are and where we're from.

But fear not my friends, we have a shelter in the gale
Who is with us to the end and whose love never fails;
He controls the storm and He is Master of the sea
And He will never let harm come to you or come to me.

Sometimes this life we live can seem to be
Like a tiny boat adrift on a stormy sea;
But because He loves us so and His life He gave,
To Him we let it go and we ride the wave.

Very nice. Glad you gave Him credit. He is the reason we celebrate Christmas. You may be interested in reading my poem THE GREATEST CHRISTMAS GIFT.
