The Way We Are.

Things go wrong, People are broken.
It’s the way we are, the words that are spoken.
Look to the sky, and then where you stand.
Always know you are in God’s hands.
Our hearts break easy, it’s a simple fact.
Time will restore it, and put us on track.
We amble down the street,
And notice things that make us weak.
We weigh ourselves down with stress, but reality is,
We should live like we are blessed.
A beautiful world is right in front of you,
Embrace it without further ado.
Being perfect is out of the question,
But please oh please don’t lose your discretion.
Life is here to enjoy without distress,
Follow your heart and do your best.
Love with arms wide open,
Live your life with great words spoken.
This is the way we are,
Be yourself and reach for the stars.
