The Wedge Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Wedge

the wedge lays there
openly
your hands are moving towards
the center
your mouth brings rain
your fingers bring a quake
your eyes fall
and yet you still see everything
it is so beautiful
but it can never be yours
it is owned by it
and there is no more giving
