The Weighing Light Poem by Martin Webb

The Weighing Light

What a gorgeous evening,
to bask in the glorious sun

The day is waning,
the work has been done

The moon in feigning, blushing
Brightening her coming glow

Peace settles on us-
as the weight of fading light,

Causing everything
to slow
into the coming night
