The Weight Of Waiting Poem by ashok jadhav

The Weight Of Waiting

Time leans its full weight on the patient mind,
Each second stretched, a thread about to break;
The future flickers, close yet undefined,
A door that trembles, slow to open, wake.
Hope counts the hours, fear retraces doubt,
Breaths learn the art of standing still and sore;
In waiting, hearts grow heavy, worn by doubt—
Yet strength is shaped by what we bear before.
