The 'Who' That I Am Poem by Freewill Amon

The 'Who' That I Am

I'm not like everyone else
But I am an everyday man
I am a product of God's creation
A proud indigen of my father land

I am nobody's puppet;
I have my own life to live
Whatever anyone thinks is in his pocket
I'm only accountable to God Almighty

I don't lick anybody's boots
I'm too good to be such a coward
People want others to walk in their shoes
But doing so has drawn me backward

I am a symbol of greatness
You can either believe it or not
I can never give up on myself
I'm too legit to quit

I am against the world
Because it's been against me
I do not go by its systems
I walk in the path of The Almighty

I know the 'who' that I am
And I know what it means to be a man
I'm not the fool you think I am
I'm too hard to understand

I am a multi-man
I am you, him and me
I am many package wrapped up in one
I am cool, wide and free
