The Wind Poem by Enej Šloser

The Wind

As i sit on the bench the wind blows leaves,
How I wish to fly like these,
So light and fragile they go about,
To want to be that free i have no doubt,

I wake up and feel the ground below,
The leaves still fly as I see them go,
Go where the wind takes them, as i cannot,
Would like to change parts but my mind lets me not,

Still the next day when I go out,
There they are again flying about,
As without wind they cannot fly around,
So cant i without your love all around,
