The Winter Of My Discontent Poem by jack boyd

The Winter Of My Discontent

What is on my mind is the life to come and not the life I have the life I have has become more than one person can bare my life has become like waiting for the mountain to fall without knowing when it is going to happen with my wife as the only grace in the world those that I had faith in have been like the winter of my discontent no more beauty do I see in the world but a shadow of the life I once found great joy, no more do I see the wonder in life just the darkness that follows each day. I see the misery of life there is only darkness that fills my soul and heart. I see the darkness before me and the dark that lays behind is filled with the corruption of the demon world the light is dead no life no love no hope for the light to fill the darkness.
