The Wishing Well Poem by shifa burkett

The Wishing Well

Rating: 5.0

A wishing well standing in a lonely place is
full of wishes, hopes, and dreams.
the shinney coins of peoples payment for thier
heats desires glint in the strong autum sun
Who will get thier requests granted those who put
the most in, or them that deserve it more
but at the end of the day is a wishing well
a magical deal, or somthing from which the poor can steal

Shifa how right you are with your words I really enjoyed reading your poem.I have often wondered where the coins go after they have been thrown into the well. Your poem gets right to the point, good insight here cheers Sylviex
