The Woman That I Love. Poem by Jose O Hidalgo

The Woman That I Love.

Rating: 4.5

The woman that I love
is like no other,
she holds the smile
that brings me life,
the misterious eyes
that yearn my mind,
the woman that I love
can not be mine.

Oh Lalage! ! Love of mind,
heart of another?
In my heart there is a rose,
the one I planted in your name,
I will write to you this poems,
I will sing for you the melody,
I will pray for you my love..
At the threeshold of our God.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
this a poem that belongs to a series of poems that I wrote about a lady named Katyana, I'm aware that I will never hold her lips or see myself on her eyes, but I know that I will feel her beauty while I hold her in my words, in my poems, in my songs.
*Lalage is name related to the poet Horace, if you want to know who she is you will have to investigate.
