In the begining was the Word
And the Word was with God and the Word was God
In which all was created
For the earth where we trod

The Word became flesh
And dwelt among us
To teach us to love
To have faith and to trust

From His fullness of grace
Many blessings are found
The gift of knowing our Lord
Comes from knowing the sound

The sound of his voice
Our Redeemer, our friend
The lover of our souls
Our broken hearts He'll mend
