The Word Of God Discerns

The Word of God discerns
The thoughts and intents of the heart
Here is where conviction is found
If we would honestly judge our own heart
That's why the Bible is so important
It's the very Word of God
Who one day became flesh for us
To endure God's chastening rod

We think far to lightly of sin
As to the thinking it doesn't matter
But God will hold us all accountable
As to what we have on our platter
Sins of commission or ommission
If we fail to do that which is good
Our own heart judges us
When we leave off of the things we should

How many pages of the Word
Have given your eyes visitation
Or do you think so lightly of it
You've missed out on its meditation
To think that God became the Word
In all of its totality
And holds it in such of high esteem
It shall last eternally

Why take my word for it
When you can find your own hidden treasure
Ask the Lord to help in yourunderstanding
As to the law and to the letter
And may a revelation dawn upon your soul
To the saving of it my friend
There not a Friend like the lowly Jesus
The Creator and Saviour of men!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
