The Words Never Said By Him Poem by Roshni Menon

I love thee more than words can say,
So please don’t break my heart today,
Every day spent apart,
Is eternity to my wounded heart.

The sight of you makes my heart catch fire,
And I realise that you are my deepest desire.
Spurn not my love and leave me here,
Lest I myself do disappear.

The moments I treasure,
Are the ones spent with you,
And I attain pleasure,
Only when my life is complete with you.

As days pass by,
I grow weaker and nearer to death,
As time flies by,
I bury my love in the depth of my heart.

As I lay awake on my death bed,
Thinking about you,
I take my last breath,
Leaving this world without you.

Never did he speak the words of love,
Never did he express the feeling of love,
But…there ends a true love!
