Hold On Friend... Poem by Roshni Menon

I know that you are depressed,
By whatever things that happened,
But let me tell you this my friend,
You have not reached a dead-end.
You still have a life to live through,
To continue making your dreams come true.
I know, that it was indeed, a harsh test,
But let us hope that it was for the best,
Who knows, maybe you're in for a surprise,
And one day, you are sure to realize,
That these were just those stepping stones,
To conquer your dreams and make them your own.
So whenever you're feeling gloomy or forlorn,
Just keep telling yourself to hold on,
Because, you will, for sure, find your destiny,
And you will smile in that harmony,
In the meanwhile, if you want some care,
Just know that I will be there,
For there is nothing that love cannot win,
It is like that it has always been.
