Shadow in the Night
The World - Poem by Shadow in the Night
I feel like I forgot how to breathe, to speak.
I can't focus. I just want to lay here alone,
To forget everything.
To wake up and be happy.
Forget all the pain, and be free.
But I know I'll have to get up soon and step back
into the world, take every cut, every scar, and every tear.
But keep walking: with my head high
