The World Is More Than I Can Ever See Poem by Shalom Freedman

The World Is More Than I Can Ever See

THE WORLD IS MORE THAN ALL I CAN EVER SEE

The world is more than all I can ever see
Its secret bits of dust reform
In ways no particle accelator can recreate.

We live and die in promises of forgetfulnesses
Great silences and seeings
Of beings we never
are-.
All we know and all
We live and die for-

It is only this moment
Of interminable silence
Upon which this poem
never
Ends.
