The World Knows You As Bob Dylan, But I As The Same Guitarist Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The World Knows You As Bob Dylan, But I As The Same Guitarist

The world knows you as Bob Dylan,
But I know you as a guitarist,
A musician,
You striking the chords, strings
And it stringing,
Cackling,
Notes breaking, musical notes,
Melodic notes lilting,
Sonnding, resounding,
Music as the song of life,
Song as the music of life

And you putting the diary
On the book stand
Casting a cursory look
At the script of the song
You trying to give a tuning
With your nasal sound,
Melodic presentation,
Declamatory speech,
Folklore revelry
And vocals so sweet and overtaking us
Far from,

Bob, yours is a music,
Yours is a song,
Yours is a voice,
A vocal, a melody, a tuning
So sonorous and sweet, golden and rhythmic,
The world knows you as Bob Dylan,
But I know you as a guitarist
Performing with your guitar,
Tuning down to reach the hearts,
Humming and whistling the songs of love,
It is love never dies, ever renews.
