The World's Way For Dogs Poem by Bill Grace

The World's Way For Dogs

It is late and I am tired
Marks on this piece of paper
Celebrate that the dog is upstairs
That he probably does not want a midnight walk
But this does not matter
Even if I love the dog
I can not let him win
He must pee before we let him truly rest,
It is the world's way for dogs.
