The World Sees No Evil, Hears No Evil, But Speaks Much Evil Poem by Danielle Schneider

The World Sees No Evil, Hears No Evil, But Speaks Much Evil

Rating: 4.5

Being judged by someone who only sees you,
Getting taunted by those who only know your name.
Yet they are the ones who used to know you, love you.
Why can't the world go back to the way it used to be? !
Where I loved you and you loved me,
We loved them and the loved lived carefree!
But the world has turned its face to the truth.
Closed its eyes from seeing the horrible scenes.
Shuts its ears from all the terrified screams.
Their forked tongues spewing forth their acid lies.
It really is true:
We all live only to die.

I love the viewpoint of this how we only live to die. That is being completely realistic and is looking upon the truth. Great idea....I will have to read more of your poetry. To make the poem more alluring and popular I would change the name to something catchy and drastic. To make it more memorable I would make it a little longer and a little more horrifying to the reader. Make the reader learn to hate the world, or to want to change it. Contrast the goodness of something else to the evil world. I only say this because I know that humans look for hope and can identify with evil. If you changed this poem a little bit it would be unstable.
