The Light Of Shadows Poem by Danielle Schneider

This world of mine; full of shadows.
This dark place I'm in; so many demons.
The all powerful evil; pulls me deeper.
As I'm dragged through hell; there's a light.

A free spirit dances closer; a burning star.
Suddenly I'm breaking free; and embracing fire.
The warmth is all consuming; feels like floating.
Flying now and seeing clouds; in the, pictures.

Everything now, so peaceful; you appear- shining.
I feel complete happiness; the dark's disappeared.
A realization has come; it was you.
Your light saved me from it; my darkest time.

A force like no other; this is love.
A previous unkown for me; I'm now devoted.
I will keep that fire going; I promise that.
You care so much- the dark is gone; I love you.


A/N: I wrote this for the most important person in my life (actually she demanded I write her something: P but I gladly did it) . She's always been there for me, and I truly hope we'll never drift apart. She's my world 3 Never change babe xox
