The World To Conquer Poem by Mason Maestro

The World To Conquer

Hey Brother doctor with your high and mighty stance,
Your actions speak so bloody loud, I can't hear a word you say
Hey Sister needing a heart with all of your compassion
Your soft spell lights the day but can't assuage the pain
Hey man of science with your medical means of measure
Can you achieve antidotes with the data that you gather?
Hey Mother Nature can your loins bear fruit forever?
Is your lacking fecundity a tether or a treasure?

And they’ve got a whole world to conquer
Enumerate the poverty, malady and toil
Demote all equality in all their decisions

Hey Mr. Diplomat with your evasive orations
Did you hear the constituents when you left the voting station?
Hey moral soldier you've got righteous call-of-duty
And direct orders to fuel your pulpy foreign booty
Hey Miss Physician selling drugs - your only mission
Endorse untested remedies and feed them to the children

But they will have nothing to conquer
eliminate the poverty, malady and toil
Promote all equality in all our decisions
