The Woven Thoughts Poem by Meg Harrison

The Woven Thoughts

the branches are hanging and lean against the basket
so the branches entwhine
as if they have done a task
of weaving the basket in the past.
wooden images are working together
so everyone recognizes flowers at the end of each branch.

the branches are high and low
with the basket below it.
somehow they have connected your eyes
to the flowers which are so soft with the white petals
they make your heart happy.
that spring is in the air.

Do not move the basket
but collect more branches with flowers.
everyone will see more images when they look at the table.
We want to draw them on paper
so we never forget the beautiful season of spring
when they belong together.
