The You In You Poem by Yamini Iyer

The You In You

There is something different with you
There is some disparity
Unable to find the ground
I sit and think and rethink

You aren't what you pose to me
I know there exists another you
A you, that cases all your being
And that you in you, i admire

There has been lot you edified to me
Many a matters have i known as new
It ain't that i abhor this guise of you
This has been usual to my locale

I ask you thus, to be to me
What you are de facto
As transparent as your essence
As opaque as your semblance

Be kind! Permit me to ken you verily
Unbosom to me your bona fide being.
Uncertain, as i am, of you this way
I yen to acquaint THAT you in you
