Floods of discontent, UPROOT
Storms of frustration, DESTROY
suffocating smoke of hate, ASCENDS
Sense of belonging, Numbs

Volcanoes of wrath and ash, ROAR
Waves of disappointment, RISE
Earthquakes of pessimism, Rift ‎
Hurricanes of resentment, HIT

‎ Mounts of misery, ‎
‎ Disintegration, ‎
‎ Disinclination, ‎
‎ Devastation, ‎
‎ Destruction, ‎
‎ Decay, ‎
‎ ‎‎ ‎
All

Are heaped upon our motherland! ‎
Heavy load - difficult to lift.‎

‎ Ghosts of death and darkness! ‎
‎ Boneless skulls, ‘trunkless legs'‎
‎ A State of emptiness, nothingness, ‎
‎ Carelessness, shallowness prevails.‎

Stillness, silence, sleepy sad audience
Echo of farewell songs sung by dervish DANCERS, ‎
The corpse of the dream, murdered ‎
By fancy thoughtless thoughts! ‎

Dry tears halt on the wrinkled cheeks, ‎
skinny skins, sick spirits Are
The salient cracks of the barren land, ‎
The land cries for a SAVIOUR

Perforating the heart of Sudan's heart, ‎
Are the cares and careless deeds of the ACTORS! ‎
Still the stage is thronged with CLOWNS, ‎
Absence of mindful audience invites the mindless APES

‎ Cloaked by the death shroud, ‎
‎ Mantled by the fear of unknown! ‎
‎ Crazy life of greed, ‎
‎ jealousy, ‎
‎ selfishness, ‎
‎ and race! ‎
